The Democrats hate him for his harsh comments on the most sensitive of issues. The Republicans hate him for drawing too much negative attention to the already "magical" Party. I, on the other hand, never hate somebody just for bringing attention of any connotation to anything. I never place any opinions on anybody for bringing the tough topics to the surface of the media. Howard Stern is a wonderful example of somebody that got so much criticism for saying the things everybody else is thinking. The reason the I hate Rush Limbaugh, is for none of the reasons listed above.
I hate Rush Limbaugh because, well frankly, the guy's a freaking nutcase. I would hate to lose some of the dignity of this blog by being so forward, but I don't beat around the bush on most topics. Believe me, there are too many Rush-isms to mention. So I won't mention any one in particular. Just listen to his AM radio talk show once and you will understand my logic.
Now, the reason I bring up Mr. Rush Limbaugh is for his now world famous (or rather infamous) quote, calling for President Obama to fail. I have heard a lot of negative things said about Mr. Barack Obama. I have read comments on this blog by certain readers that basically said that they wished Barack Obama would feel the pain of being aborted by his white mother. Pretty horrible. I am not comparing the failing of his presidency to his lack of existence. However, Barack Obama is our President. If he fails, this nation fails. If he fails, millions of people die. Very classy Mr. Limbaugh. You must feel like a million bucks. The million bucks that all of us tired, sick, starving and poor could really use right about now.
I think about 65% of all the problems in the world are created by negativity. Maybe if we actually acted like we were the United States of America, we wouldn't be in such a mess. How many people have to lose their homes before we wake up as a nation and bring our other foot inside the door.
On a positive note........sorry there is nothing to report.
Thank You,
Dylan

Batter Up, Mr. Obama!
Today, President Obama announced his non-supportive support for the taxation of Employee Health Benefits. Now, by non-supportive support, I mean that has said he might maybe possibly support it but will not propose it to Congress. What will the taxation of Employee Health Benefits do you ask? Well, of the 250 million people in the United States who have Health Insurance, 65% of those people have insurance through job. What this non-proposed proposition would do, would tax every single employee with health benefits to have health benefits.
I'm sure most of you by now are planning an impromptu move to Canada but hold your horses. There are a few upsides to this imaginary piece of legislation. In the version of this law made by Senator John McCain of Arizona, the amount of money raised over the period of a decade, would number about 3.6 Trillion Dollars to go directly to a proposed "health care reserve fund".
The lack thereof limit on deductions proposed by President Obama originally would raise $318 billion over the same amount of time.
My concern isn't this law though. Honestly, your position on this law will most likely be decided by how much you can afford to pay more taxes for benefits. My concern is the lack of vertabrate seemed to be had by the Obama administration whose big ordeal continues to be kissing the Health Insurance Companies where the sun doesn't shine. Although not spoken by Obama himself, members of the administration are shutting up real fast about Health care issues. They cite the reason for their silence as a want to seperate themselves from the Clinton administration's failed attempt at Universal Health Care.
I am too close to the issue of health care to write much about it. All I will say is, I sure do hear the word affordable a lot in places where I used to hear Free......
Anyways, my blog today is a call for backbone in a sense. Barack Obama, if you are in favor of an issue, then stop being so vague and claim a stance. Sitting on the fence is for ignorant scholars, not the President of the United States of America. Don't worry about your image and choose a side based on the situation. I seem to recall, a certain President that was far too stubborn to do this.
Thank You,
Dylan

First Nail in the Corpse Coffin Award
I will start giving out a special award every Friday night called the Nail in the Coffin Award. I give these out to people that have shown great awesomeness in Politics. The first one ever goes to Jon Stewart of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Why Jon Stewart you ask? He brought the Political pain to Jim Cramer this week when he challenged him to a debate. Stewart accused him and the rest of the Liberal Media of going to easy on the Barack Obama administration and essentially having a school girl crush on him. Cramer did not deny this and admitted to Jon Stewart that the Liberal Media was not asking the hard questions to the Obama Administration. Cramer even told Stewart that he thought that it was a good idea to challenge the administration more. Stewart then added, "It's easy to say that after the fact." Mr. Jon Stewart, I applaud you for going up against the Liberal Media. That is one war that once started isn't easily fought. You must have some kajones. Good job Mr. Stewart for putting the Nail in the Coffin and fighting them back.
Thank You,
Dylan

I will be compiling a large Profile Playlist playlist to put on here. Now, it will mainly be music I like but it will all be political punk rock music. I will try to limit cussing as to not alienate readers but PC bothers me.
Nothing much to add today. I haven't even read the headlines of politics today. I will do that and add another post in a few hours. Please enlarge the follower size of this blog and add me and recommend this to friends or whatever. I will try to advertise it on my myspace as much as possible but most of my friends on there aren't really in to blogs.
Peace out Punk Rockers,
Dylan

Obama Years So Far
I am sorry I haven't been updating but I had to get a perspective on things. Not much has changed. That's the problem. I am not going to bash the Obama presidency after just 2 months. That would be stupid. I feel the need however to speak my beliefs on a particular topic. That topic is in fact, the facts. For this post only, I will state nothing but the facts. Do with it what you will.
The 111th Congress, who we elected, approved the stimulus package for hundreds of billions of dollars. The money will go to the effort to try to pull us out of the recession. Before the bailout was approved, Arizona was going to have to cut 100 Million Dollars from Education. Now with the bailout, they will only cut 75 Million Dollars from Education, which is the department to teach the future leaders of our nation.
The 110th Congress had already approved the bank bailout which was basically giving the rich more money to keep the banks that are already giving out bad loans from immediately going out of business. As part of the bank bailout, AIG, was given I believe around $130 billion. Now, AIG in an attempt to make more money, said that they would insure the loans that the rest of the banks are giving out. In the first fiscal quarter of 2009, AIG had lost 60 billion dollars already. That's two months. Now, the treasury is requesting that the government give 30 billion more dollars to AIG. That motion was approved......
Alright, enough of the facts. I have mixed emotions about all this. I am in no way an economist. But isn't it......stupid.....to give more money to a company that lost 60 billion dollars in two months. That's just my own little opinion. But, you know, what's 30 billion dollars. Thats only $100 per person in the country. A hundred dollars that most of you don't have to spare. It is absolutely ridiculous. Now, I will not jump off the Barack bandwagon so fast. That would be by far the most ridiculous anyone could do only two months into his presidency. Because first of all, Barack is not the one who is making these decisions. Second of all, it was an inevitable move. This is simply what happens when you try and find a balance between two polar opposites, in this case being capatalism and socialism. I am 100% for the rise of socialism. But not if we don't set it up carefully.
Capatalism had it's run but the founding fathers realized that it was too closely related to anarchy to stand a chance. So they socialized capatalism and turned it into nationalism. That is where we are paying for the businesses to keep going. The problem is, there are parts of the business world and economic world that are socialist and parts that are capatalist. Oil doesn't mix with water.
We have had the chance to make a run for socialism but for some reason, everybody in the country associates it with Communism. It's not even close to being the same. Communism is where the government owns every dollar out there. Thus, they own everything. Socialism is when the government, members of which are by the people, regulates certain areas of business so that the business owners have to follow procedure so they don't rip off anybody. Then, the people pay taxes to fund the government who in turn funds the economy. They are similar but not the same thing.
I will pretty much say goodbye but will advise you to neither put your complete blind faith in the government nor jump off the bandwagon. We can only revitalize this economy together. Oh, and please, argue my theories. I'm up for a debate anyday. Once again, Obama is not now, nor has he ever been the Antichrist. Just thought I'd throw that out there for some people who are saying that because he supports the rights of the mother to terminate a pregnancy before any major organs have formed, and he because he doesn't persecute homosexuals for their sexual orientation, and because he wants to fix the economy without huge tax cuts, he must be the spawn of Satan.
Because 8 years of conservatism worked so well...
